According to a recent article in the Tampa Bay Times (3.6.2015), more than $8 million dollars of property between 4th Street, N. and 38th Avenue, N. has changed hands within the past two years.
So far the turnover has resulted in the construction of two medical buildings, a Trader Joe’s, and The Vitamin Shop. Developers are particularly in this area because of its proximity to downtown, claiming people who work downtown can drive up to 4th Street for lunch or shopping and get back in time.
Bottom line: Investors and developers have taken to St. Petersburg and believe it is a good place to invest.
